The 10 year contract with Sony comes to an end and Star TV is the new player for the next 5 years!

IPL 2017 saw 535 million people tuned from all across but Star TV is betting that the number is bound to go to 700 million people watching the game either over TV screens or mobile phones throughout the two-month tournament.

The TV giant is convinced that broadcasting this sensational tournament on six channels in six languages including Tamil and Bengali will grab eye balls & new audiences.
